Its builder was Vince Bene, a pharmacist, which is why a statue of Saint Roch was placed on the fa\u00e7ade. At the saint\u2019s feet sits a dog holding a piece of bread in its mouth. In 1944, a murder took place here. The surviving little girl, Erzsike, grew up and later founded a family in one half of the villa. Interestingly, she became one of the best-known caricaturists of the socialist era. Meanwhile, the other half of the villa housed the country\u2019s last brothel, the Intim Drink Bar, which operated until 2008. In 2009, the building was purchased by Albrecht Wirtz and his wife, \u00c1gnes. Based on the plans of L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Bencz\u00far and his team, the villa was renovated, and the Br\u00f3t Bakery and Bistro opened its doors.
