and the Batthy\u00e1ny Manor and Golf Resort share a 10-hectare estate. The buildings are surrounded by a 300-year-old park with ancient trees, providing an ideal setting for recreation, whether arriving as a couple or with the family. The predecessor of the manor was built in 1490 in the late Gothic style. It became the property of the Batthy\u00e1ny family in the 1800s and, following reconstruction, acquired its present appearance, featuring Baroque elements. In 1945, the manor was nationalised together with the Batthy\u00e1ny Castle and was used as a children\u2019s home. High-quality materials and a colour palette characteristic of the 19th century were chosen, allowing guests arriving for relaxation to step into the luxurious atmosphere once experienced by the Batthy\u00e1ny family. The building now offers 20 rooms, including 9 Standard rooms, 3 Superior rooms and 8 suites. The Castle Hotel offers 28 rooms, the Manor 20 rooms, and the estate is complemented by an Event Centre, opened in 2014 and expanded with a new wing in 2023. It can host events for up to 200 guests, including weddings, conferences and corporate gatherings<sup>2<\/sup>. From spring to autumn, the beautiful park provides a wonderful setting for outdoor events \u2013 especially wedding ceremonies \u2013 while during rainy or colder weather, events can be held indoors.
